Rutgers Football Returns to Practice Field
The Rutgers football team returns to spring practice Tuesday after a week hiatus due to spring break. Spring practice is scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday along with Rutgers’ Pro Combine for NFL Scouts Wednesday afternoon.
The pro combine will be held in the Hale Center weight room and the Indoor Practice Bubble. Thirteen former Scarlet Knights, including NFL Combine participants Ray Rice, Jeremy Zuttah and Pedro Sosa, will take part. The players will go through a variety of drills, including the 40-yard dash, 225-pound bench press, broad jump, vertical jump, three-cone drill, flexibility tests and individual position testing.
ScarletKnights.com will provide complete coverage of the pro combine event, including official results from the event, along with video and photographs from the day’s action.
Rutgers’ Pro Combine is closed to the general public, but open to members of the media.
